Group 2: Abduction 2/18/15

Based upon what you have recently read, choose three quotes that have some value/significance to the story and explain why you chose those three quotes.

Make a connection  to each of the following four scenarios:

Self-to-Text

Text-to-Text

Text-to-World

Author-to-Text

To keep the discussion going continue to respond to your group members' responses/comments and share work from your Book Club Notes worksheet session #4.

  1. I don't think there is really any special quite to this story so far

There was a time when we couldn't find my dog and we got worried just like Bonnie and her mom in the story

I have never read a book like this so I have nothing to say for text to text

Things like this happen in the real world

Maybe the author has had an experience that is why the book is very detailed and has many twists

  2. "Matt your parents are dead" said Denny.
"I know I am out side your window right know" said Denny's gambling person.
    "Where is Matt?" said Bonnie.
My self to text connection is when they went back to get pokie, when I was young my dog ran away and we went to get my dog back. My text to text is when they are looking for Matt, in batboy when they are describing the stadium and how it looks. My text to world is when they are talking about the newest ps and how they did that this year. My author to text is when they describe Denny, it relates to when an author describes a bad guy.
