What is the book's greatest strength  or most serious flaw?

    The greatest strength of Hatchet in my opinion is the amount of description thats in it throughout the whole book.

    The only weakness I can think of is the ending. It was kind of sudden, and not well done. So if i could change anything it would be for the ending not to be so quick and sudden.

      He did and he shared it with the guy who picked him up. he got to enjoy it. plus he wasnt alone anymore.

    I would make the plane come a long time after he gets the survival pack not right after

      The reason the plane came right after is because he found a transmitter in the pack and tested it, then he forgot to turn it off. Also i think it was a couple days after he got the pack
